My name is Angelica Cuevas

I am Mexican from the state of Guerrero, Mexico. At the age of 17 I met my husband and got married. Together we came to the United States in the year 1998. Without knowing God, he blessed us with two beautiful children. The days passed and the lie that the world offers made us do many sad and hurtful things. Slowly our matrimony was going down a deep dark hole without any way out. However, it was Gods mercy that reached us and in the year 2004 Christ came to our lives, took us out from the dark hole, and placed us in his glorious light. Now we live for him, knowing that my matrimony and family is secure in his hands. God placed our pastors Harry and Margaret Valdez as our spiritual support. By Gods grace and mercy he allowed me to become in charge of the intercession group. Being the leader of this group is a huge blessing. Its my responsibility to placed myself in front of all the needs of the people in the church and outside the church. We pray for the lost souls so they can find salvation in Christ. We also focused on praying for the restoration of matrimonies and the peace and happiness of all the families. When the times are hard we know the power of prayer is going to do the difference. We are going to continue fighting for the eternal purpose of God.  God bless you. Amen

 

Hi my name is Juan Manuel Cuevas. I am Mexican and I was born in the state of Guerrero Mexico. I am 30 years old and by the grace of God I have a great wife and great kids. I came to the United States in the Year 1998. I started working and hanging out with people that called themselves my friends. These so called friends invited me to go drinking. Drinking started to become a problem in my life and as the time pass I started to become an alcoholic, this brought even greater problems between my family and me. Every time I came home drunk me an my wife fought, in other words it was hell what me and my wife were living. Alcohol was killing me emotionally and physically. It came to the point where I was so desperate that I just wanted to kill myself. I could not support my situation any longer. But one day somebody came and told me that Christ loved me and that he wanted to change my life. I did not want to believe him; I told myself how can Jesus love somebody who was trash, somebody who committed so many sins. I told myself how can he love me and forgive me if all I did was to verbally and physically abuse my wife. Now I know that Gods love goes way further than what I can understand because he accepted just as I was. Before I was trash and then God gleaned me and he loved me with eternal love. I give thanks to God for the change that he has done in my life. Now I serve him with the same love that he gave me. I thank God for pastors Harry and Margaret Valdez. They have always been their for me and my family and now that lord has placed in my hands the ministry of the ushers. For me it has been a big challenge but I am serving the Lord. Jesus Came to serve so who am I to not serve him. The ushers are a great group of people who are willing to serve God to greet the visitors that come to our church Templo de la Trinidad. The ushers are here to show others love and serve the people in whatever need that they may have through prayer. We keep the order in the Church, we make sure that everything is ok and that everyone is doing great. May God bless you and I hope that my testimony can help all of those who read it. Amen

Mi nombre es Angelica Cuevas, soy Mexicana del estado de Guerrero. A los 17 anos conocí a mi esposo, nos casamos y juntos llegamos a este país en el año 1998. Sin conocer de Dios el nos bendijo con dos hijos hermosos. Los días pasaban y los problemas y la mentira que el mundo ofrece nos llevaron a cometer errores tristes y dolorosos. A si poco a poco nuestro matrimonio iba cayendo a un abismo oscuro y sin salida. Pero la misericordia de Dios nos alcanzo y en el ano 2004 Cristo vino a nuestras vidas y nos saco de la oscuridad a su luz admirable. Ahora vivimos para el, sabiendo que mi matrimonio y mi familia esta segura en sus manos. Dios puso a nuestros pastores Harry y Margaret Valdez como un apoyo para nuestro crecimiento espiritual y por su gracia y su misericordia puso en mis manos el ministerio de Intercesión, donde es una bendición el pararme en la brecha a favor de la necesidad humana, a interceder por las almas perdidas para que encuentren la salvación, restauración a sus matrimonios, paz y felicidad a las familias demostrando el poder de la oración a la hora de enfrentar tiempos difíciles y seguir combatiendo por el propósito eterno de Dios. Amen

 

Hola yo soy Juan Manuel Cuevas soy Mexicano y nací en el estado de Guerrero. Tengo 30 anos de edad y por la gracia de Dios tengo una esposa y unos hijos maravillosos. Llegue a los Estados Unidos en el ano 98, comencé a trabajar y a tener amigos los cuales me invitaron a tomar. Poco después me di cuenta que estaba en un problema, yo ya no podía dejar de tomar por que poco a poco me fui enviciando con el alcohol y comencé a tener mas problemas pero ahora era en la casa con mi esposa. Cada ves que llegaba tomado era una pelea en la casa, en pocas palabras era un infierno lo que estábamos viviendo yo y mi esposa. El alcohol me estaba matando tanto interior como físicamente que llego el día en que yo me sentía desesperado que hasta me quería matar. Ya no soportaba esta situación. Pero un día alguien me dijo Cristo te ama y quiere cambiar tu vida y yo no lo quería creer por que decía como cristo va amar a una basura como yo. Después de haber cometido tanto pecado, como cristo va amar a un pecador. Si todo lo que yo había hecho era maltratar a mi esposa verbal mente y física mente y yo creía que yo no tenia perdón. Pero ahora entiendo que el amor de Dios va mas allá de lo que uno puede pensar por que el me acepto tal y como yo era como una basura de ahí me levanto y me limpio y me amo con amor eterno y ahora le doy gracias a Dios por el cambio que a hecho en mi vida y con el mismo amor que el me dio, con ese mismo amor le sirvo. Ahora le doy gracias a Dios por mis pastores Harry y Margaret Valdez. Siempre han estado al cuidado de nosotros y ahora el señor a puesto en mis manos el ministerio de los hujieres y para mi ha sido un gran reto pero ahí estaré sirviéndole a mi señor por que si el vino a servir quien soy yo para que alguien me sirva. Los ujieres es un grupo de personas las cuales están a la entrada de la puerta de la iglesia recibiendo a las personas con amor y dándoles la bienvenida y orando por cada una de sus necesidades. El grupo de ujieres están para servir a toda la congregación y tener el control de toda la Iglesia y mirar que todo este en orden. Que el señor les bendiga y espero que mi testimonio pueda ser de gran bendición para todos aquellos que lo lean. Amen.
